Wolves’ Scout Cawvey Named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week

Vyve Broadband Salutes Shawnee Wide Receiver For Outstanding Play

Shawnee sophomore wide receiver Scout Cawvey was named Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week for his outstanding play in the Wolves’ 27-13 season opening win over Guthrie Friday night.

It was Cawvey early and often for the Wolves. He opened the scoring with a 55-yard touchdown grab and added three more TD receptions to outdistance the Bluejays. On the night he totaled eight catches for 185 yards and four touchdowns.

The Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week is presented to the player who most exemplifies competition, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship for his high school team each Friday night.

For week one, that player is Shawnee’s Scout Cawvey.

“At Vyve our communities are important to us, which means high school football is important to us,” said Diane Quennoz, Vyve SVP, Marketing and Customer Experience. “That’s why we are happy to recognize a player whose performance and persona best reflect the attitudes of his community, and Vyve – hard work, determination and integrity. Congratulations to this week’s Friday Night Vyve Player of the Week, Scout Cawvey.”
